To study for an undergraduate degree at the University of Edinburgh, you have to apply through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). All candidates are strongly urged to apply by 15 January.
If you wish to work in Scotland after your studies, there are several opportunities available. The Fresh Talent Scheme Scotland has a long tradition of welcoming people from around the world, whether they are coming here to live, to work or to study, and they are a valued and respected part of the Scottish community.
- You are an EU national, or the child or stepchild of an EU national.
- You have been ordinarily resident in a member state of the EU or elsewhere in the EEA for the three years immediately before the relevant date.
- You are taking a course of full-time study in Scotland and plan to graduate from that course.
If you are currently studying at a University outwith the UK, then you may be able to spend time at The University of Edinburgh as a visiting student. The time you spend studying here can count towards the final degree awarded by your home university.
We welcome many international students to Informatics each year and have a wide range of courses on offer for suitably prepared visiting students.
